Food Vendor Details

Jury Selection

McConkey's Market is a juried event that selects vendors carefully to provide a variety of products to customers. We limit the number of trucks. We typically have 2-3 savory and 1 or 2 sweet.

To be considered, please complete the form on this page and, if necessary, send 3-5 photographs of your work to mcconkeysmarket@gmail.com. This will complete your application.

The application deadline is March 14, 2024 for the June 15 market and July 15 for the September 14 Market.

The jury process takes place after our application deadline. Vendors will receive an email within a week after the application deadline informing them of acceptance and payment instructions.

Payment

Once accepted to the market you will receive payment instructions. Cost is $100 for a 10' x 10' space. Oversized spaces up to 10' x 20' to accommodate food trucks are $150. Vendors must supply their own tables. Electricity is only provided by special request, and these spaces are limited.

Set-Up and Arrangements

Exhibitors and vendors must deliver and arrange merchandise on the day of the event between 7:30 AM and 9:30 AM.

Booths must be completely set up prior to the event opening time, 10 AM. Displays may be dismantled after 4 PM. Vendors must maintain their booth until the 4 PM closing time.

Detailed information about setup will be provided a few weeks before the event.

Sales Tax

The sales tax rate is 6% in Pennsylvania. Vendors selling products and services subject to sales tax are required to obtain a PA Sales, Use and Hotel Occupancy Tax License using the PA-100 Enterprise Registration application. The quickest and easiest way to apply for a license is directly online at http://www.pa100.state.pa.us.

Weather

McConkey's Market is a rain or shine event. If severe or dangerous weather does cause a cancellation, vendors will receive a credit for a future McConkey's Market.

Every participating food truck must provide a certificate of insurance and include McConkey's Market, the Friends of Washington Crossing Park, and the Commonwealth of PA - DCNR as additional insured with $1 million aggregate and provide a copy prior to entrance.
